Taking back the city

Life in Manchester without people would lead to nature beginning to take back the city, this would begin with plants starting to grow where they have normally been kept at bay. I thought that it might be nice to try and grow some plants through fabric, this will give me something real to look at and to respond to. I decided to do the classic runner beans growing in a bottle, an experiment I remember from primary school. The plant has given me quite a nice view of the roots and you can see them pushing through the fabric. I am now going to take the plant, photograph it and then do some mark makings in response.
