Why i am interested in the programme..

The university has always had an excellent reputation. The course will enable me to develop my skills further and mould me into a designer ready for the textile industry, whatever I have to do to achieve this I will do it with determination and enthusiasm. The institution has graduates with the highest standard and looking at previous work I can see myself as a part of that group.

Your course offers diversity and explores all different aspects of textiles I feel that this will help my techniques and explore materials. In the first year I will be able to work in my own style and eventually find a chosen pathway, this aspect I am looking forward to as I will able to find a style I am comfortable with. The images I have chosen are mainly from my Art foundation course, as this is when I realised how much I enjoyed textiles. Manchester is such a vibrant city and I hope you have seen the potential in my work to let me continue my journey in textiles.
